Five students from The University of Tulsa’s College of Law have been recognized by the Oklahoma Bar Association (OBA) and the Oklahoma Bar Foundation (OBF) for their academic performance, leadership and service.
The awards highlight law students across Oklahoma who have demonstrated dedication to the study and practice of law. The 2025 UTulsa Law recipients are third-year students E. Morgan Wilson Williams, Mackenzie K. Clark, Wade Jameson, Stanton Thomas and Lori Whitlock.
E. Morgan Wilson Williams – OBA Outstanding Senior Law Student

Morgan Wilson Williams was named the 2025 OBA Outstanding Senior Law Student. Williams earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from UTulsa in 2021, majoring in finance and computer information systems, and later worked for Tulsa-based Williams.
At UTulsa Law, she has been named to the faculty honor roll each semester and received six CALI Awards for highest performance in her courses. Williams earned first place in the 1L Negotiation Competition and second in a Motion for Summary Judgment Competition. She also received Tulsa Law Review awards for Best Below the Line Edits and Best Overall Paper for her forthcoming publication, “In Re Match Group Derivative Litigation: The End of MFW’s Carrot & Stick System.” She currently serves as executive editor of the Tulsa Law Review. After graduation, she plans to join Hall Estill in Tulsa and later clerk for a U.S. district judge in the Northern District of Oklahoma.

Mackenzie K. Clark – OBF Judy Hamilton Morse Memorial Scholarship
Mackenzie Clark received the OBF Judy Hamilton Morse Memorial Scholarship. Clark earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from East Central University and has held leadership positions in the Student Bar Association, Women’s Law Caucus, Board of Advocates and Public Interest Board. She has completed externships with municipal government and higher education offices and contributed more than 70 hours of community service during law school. Clark lives in Tulsa with her husband, Garrett, their daughter and two Boykin spaniels.

Wade Jameson – OBF Partners for Justice Scholarship Award
Wade Jameson received the OBF Partners for Justice Scholarship Award. Jameson serves as president of the Public Interest Board and the Criminal Law Club. Before law school, he worked at the Tulsa County Public Defender’s Office, where he continues to intern. Last summer, he interned at Brewster & De Angelis, assisting on criminal, civil rights and tort cases. After graduation, he plans to continue working in public defense.

Stanton Thomas – OBF Marvin C. Emerson and Robert G. Spector Scholarship Award
Stanton Thomas received the OBF Marvin C. Emerson and Robert G. Spector Scholarship Award. Thomas has spent the past two summers at Dunlap Codding, focusing on intellectual property law, including patent and trademark work. He earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in family law and served as president of Paw Law, the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund chapter at UTulsa Law. Thomas plans to pursue a career in intellectual property law with continued involvement in family law.
Lori Whitlock – OBF Chapman-Rogers Scholarship Award

Lori Whitlock received the OBF Chapman-Rogers Scholarship Award. She is president of the Student Bar Association and executive articles editor of the Tulsa Law Review. Her academic interests include criminal and constitutional law, civil rights and appellate advocacy. Whitlock has interned with Federal Magistrate Judges Jason Robertson and Jodi Jayne, externed with Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals Judge Jane P. Wiseman and was a 2024 Federal Magistrate Judges Association Fellow. She has five children and previously worked in automotive training and management.
All five award recipients will be recognized at the UTulsa Law Alumni Awards Luncheon during the OBA’s annual meeting on Nov. 7.
