The University of Tulsa is thrilled to welcome two esteemed scholars to its academic community: Chris Burris as instructional assistant professor of simulation and gaming, and Yujing Du, Ph.D., as UTulsa’s first female assistant professor of petroleum engineering. Du, an expert in petroleum engineering, joins the McDougall School of Petroleum Engineering with a strong background in reservoir engineering and computational modeling. She worked as a postdoctoral fellow in applied physics at Harvard University before joining The University of Tulsa. Du’s research emphasizes sustainable energy practices and optimizing resource management.
