Whether you are visiting The University of Tulsa for a day, living on campus, or commuting to class or work, having a convenient and safe place to park is a priority. Our goal is to help you understand the ins and outs of parking on campus. All vehicles parked on university property must be registered with Campus Services.

The University of Tulsa features an online Vehicle Registration Process for its community, long-term guests, and affiliated vendors. Registration is required for all motorized vehicles which may be done any time on or past the date your Registration sequence begins, as identified in the “Parking Registration Calendar” below.

The parking portal is available throughout the year to obtain a permit. You will be required to log in using your TU username and password.

ADA Parking Options for University Community

In order to use campus parking spaces designated as disabled accessible, vehicles must display the appropriate parking permits, placards, or plates. Members of the university community will also need to purchase a university parking permit for any available lot that should be displayed along with the DMV-issued placard or plate. Individuals with DMV-issued placard may parking in any designated space regardless of university assigned lot. If you have a state-issued ADA hangtag and have difficulties purchasing a parking permit in your preferred lot, please fill out the ADA Parking Form.

Temporary ADA Parking Pass

The university may provide short-term parking to faculty, staff and students with disabilities by offering temporary ADA permits for parking on campus.

To request parking based on temporary disability, please complete the temporary ADA parking permit request form, which will require this information:

  1. A request including name, university ID and the length of time the temporary accommodation is being requested.
  2. Upload documentation supporting your request for a temporary ADA parking permit. (This may include doctor’s request on letterhead or Physical Disability Parking Placard Application signed by a physician.) Please don’t include any information related to the diagnosis or reason for the ADA permit. This is not necessary to process a temporary ADA permit.

After these items have been submitted and approved, Parking & Card Services will campus mail the approved temporary accommodations permit.  If you have any questions please contact our office.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Electric vehicle charging stations are located in McFarlin Library Lot.  Electric vehicles enhance sustainability efforts at The University of Tulsa by offering an inexpensive and clean way to get around town. These free charging stations are available to all students and staff members, 4 hour limit.

To use the station you must be a member of the Chargepoint network. To report problems with the operation of the charger, please submit a work order.
