Permits are lot-specific (“non-roving”)

Purchasing a parking permit for a particular lot does not guarantee a space at all times in that lot. Campus lots may be closed for special events, athletic activities, and/or for university operations and maintenance. There will be no refunds for parking permits after May 15 of each year. Parking permits are not prorated. Please note: Waitlists from the previous year dissolve April 1.

Proper Display of Parking Permits

Upon registration, a parking decal will be issued that is to be affixed to the vehicle on the inside, lower portion of the passenger-side, front windshield. For motorcycles, mopeds and scooters, the decal must be attached to the right-hand, upper arm of the cycle’s right-front fork. If the permit has been purchased but the decal is not properly affixed to the vehicle, it is considered to be the same type of violation as the “No-permit” category.

Please note: Parking decals take three to five days to be mailed to the address you provided when you purchased your permit. You may print a temporary parking permit that should be displayed on the inside, lower portion of the passenger-side, front windshield. Directions to print your temporary permit: Parking Portal (sign-in), click view your permits, select active permit and you will see a link to print your temporary parking permit.

Replacement/Exchange Parking Permit

If you need to replace or exchange your parking permit please complete this form to request a replacement/exchange parking permit. Your University Bursar account will be charged $5 to replace/exchange your parking permit.

Waitlist for Parking Permit

If, after completing your parking selection registration you would like to seek availability in another lot, place yourself on the waitlist. This, too, will be prioritized based on lot availability and request order. As spaces become available, individuals on this list will be contacted by Parking & Card Services to make this change. Parking permits are not prorated. Your University Bursar account will be charged $5 once a parking permit is issued from the waitlist. (Click here for waitlist video)

Waitlists from the previous year dissolve April 1.

Temporary Permit

Once you purchase your permit you may print a temporary parking permit that should be displayed on the inside, the lower portion of the passenger-side, front windshield.

Directions to print your temporary permit: Parking Portal (sign-in), click view your permits, select active permit and you will see a link to print your temporary parking permit.
