The University of Tulsa provides designated visitor parking for guests visiting campus. The Parking Map displays the lots reserved for visitors.
A guest is anyone who needs to visit campus and park a vehicle for up to 10 days that is not enrolled in classes or employed by the university. If a registered vehicle is being used to transport a student to or from class, or an employee to or from work, regardless of driver, it cannot be considered a visitor vehicle if it is parked on University property.
Guest are expected to observe all traffic signs and regulations. If a bona fide guest receives a traffic citation for not having a permit, the guest should sign the citation and mail it to The University of Tulsa Campus Security ATTN: Citations, 3115 E. 8th St., Tulsa OK 74104 so that the records can be verified and cleared. Citations issued to registered vehicles (whether displaying a parking permit or not) cannot be signed by a guest.
Permits for Short Courses, Workshops, Conference Meetings and Other Visitors
Anyone attending short courses, workshops, or meetings will have parking arranged by the department hosting the course. Due to limited parking availability, commuter lot parking may be the only option. The parking fee for these vehicles is $1 for each day the permit is to be used. This fee may be assessed with other costs for the course or workshop.
If your visit to campus is 10 or more days, but less than 30 days, and a department will not be arranging your parking you go to the Parking Portal webpage and click login and create a guest login. Once you are signed in, click “Get Permit” and purchase/pay for your parking permit, print guest parking permit, and display it the inside, the lower portion of the passenger-side, front windshield. Individuals needing parking beyond 30 days will need to purchase an annual parking permit.
