About

Andrea Wall brings over 30 years of experience in the operating room and as a surgical first assistant, with clinical specialties including surgical oncology, acute care surgery, neurosurgery, and orthopedics. Her academic and scholarly focus includes enhancing perioperative care and improving surgical outcomes through evidence-based practice. Her Doctor of Nursing Practice project focused on the implementation of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols to optimize recovery and reduce complications in the orthopedic population undergoing total knee replacements.

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Wall began her career at the University of New Mexico Hospital, a level 1 trauma center. She spent a decade working in high-volume surgical and acute care environments across Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas before settling in Tulsa, where she has lived and practiced for the past 20 years. She currently practices at Hillcrest Medical Center with the hepatopancreatic biliary surgery team, continuing to provide advanced surgical care while mentoring future nurse practitioners.

She is committed to advancing clinical excellence, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and preparing advanced practice nurses for high-acuity environments. Wall also provides academic leadership for the BSN-to-DNP and Post-Graduate Certificate Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) programs at The University of Tulsa.
