About
Asaad Kaadan, Ph.D., holds doctoral and master’s degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Oklahoma, and a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from University of Aleppo. Kaadan is currently associate professor of practice with The University of Tulsa. He is also the founder and CEO of Hexabitz, Inc., a company specializing in modular electronics, electronic engineering services and product development. He worked previously as a senior robotics engineer at Freefly Systems and was a guest scientist at the German Aerospace Center.
Kaadan has 15 years of experience designing and manufacturing electronics in the US, China and the Middle East. He delivered numerous electronic products for clients in various industries ranging from drones and automotive to consumer devices and IoT. His research interests include modular and sustainable electronics, distributed computing, space technologies, electronics manufacturing technologies, e-waste recycling, hardware prototyping and electronics education.
