About
Dontae D. Doughty, D.S.L., is an applied assistant professor of management specializing in strategic foresight and leadership development. He is also the associate dean of faculty affairs at the Collins College of Business.
Doughty earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical and computer engineering and engineering and public policy from Carnegie Mellon University. He also holds a Master of Science in technical management from Johns Hopkins University and a Doctor of Strategic Leadership degree with a concentration in strategic foresight from Regent University.
Before joining UTulsa, Doughty dedicated 12 years of service to the Department of Defense. He held roles such as a hardware/software engineer, contract officer representative, technical recruiter, hiring manager, development program deputy director, and engineering branch chief in his government service. Throughout these various positions, Doughty recruited, hired, and managed many undergraduate and graduate students from TU.
Doughty’s passion is to resource students and leaders for resilience throughout their careers and life. Empowering students to achieve their goals through supportive systems is his metric of success. He considers being a resource for resilience as his professional and personal mission.
