About
George Justice, Ph.D., is a professor of English at The University of Tulsa. He specializes in eighteenth-century British literature, women’s writing and the practice of higher education leadership. He is, most recently, the author of “How to Be a Dean” (Johns Hopkins Univ. Press, 2019) and co-editor of “Samuel Richardson’s Correspondence, Primarily on ‘Pamela’ and ‘Clarissa,’ 1732-1749” (Cambridge Univ. Press, 2024), which was named one of 12 Best Scholarly Books of the Year by the Chronicle of Higher Education. He is currently working on a scholarly edition of Frances Burney’s novel “Camilla” (1796) for “The Collected Novels of Frances Burney,” to be published by Cambridge University Press.
