About

Jason Yang, Applied Assistant Professor in Digital Arts and Professional in Residence brings a diverse range of commercial experience in the creative service industry into his teaching philosophy and pedagogy. His passion for community engagement is evident through his active involvement in speaking engagements, critical evaluation of numerous art exhibitions, and the facilitation of student portfolio assessments. In addition, Yang’s design and illustration work has garnered recognition in numerous pop culture galleries.

For over two decades, Jason Yang has created content across the commercial and broadcast landscape on a global scale. In 2014, Jason founded Invisible Element, a creative studio offering a number of design, illustration, animation, and consultation services. He has collaborated with and produced work for Google, Walmart, Disney, Hasbro, and many other companies both large and small. Jason approaches every project as an opportunity to develop meaningful, long-lasting relationships.
