About
Josh Corngold, Ph.D., is an associate professor and chair of the Department of Education at The University of Tulsa. In addition to providing leadership for the department, he teaches a range of education courses, advises prospective teachers, and conducts research in the areas of educational and political philosophy. His current scholarship examines the discourse around parents’ rights in contemporary American education.
Corngold is a past executive director of the Philosophy of Education Society (PES), as well as a former high school English teacher. He currently serves as a site reviewer for the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). His children attend the Tulsa Public Schools (TPS), and his wife Kira serves as an English language development (ELD) teacher in the district.
