Julie Hyland, Au.D., is an applied associate professor of communication sciences and disorders. Her expertise includes auditory brain development and counseling for families of children with hearing loss. She teaches audiology at both undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts hearing assessments for children and adults at the TU Speech and Hearing Clinic. Additionally, she facilitates the Northeastern OK Cochlear Implant Support Group, welcoming adults with cochlear implants, those exploring the possibility of receiving cochlear implants, and their support persons.
