About
Karl Pollin-Dubois is an associate professor of French and comparative literature who works at the intersection of literature, philosophy and visual arts. He is the author of the monograph “Alfred Jarry: Experimentation of Singularity” (Rodopi, 2014) and four refereed book chapters. He has published also multiple peer-reviewed articles about literature (Blanchot, Dantec, Artaud, Schuhl, Evenson, Le Brun) and cinema (Godard, Haneke, Carax) in the following journals: Europe, L’Ecole des Philosophes, La Revue des Sciences Humaines, Symposium, Yale French Studies, Contemporary French and Francophone Studies, World Literature Today and French Review. He’s presently working on two news projects: 1) A new monograph entitled “Heretic Camera”, about the Polish film director Andrzej Zulawski. 2) A collective volume “Non-Philosophy & Humanities”, based on the work of the French Philosopher François Laruelle.
