About
Hamilton completed a Ph.D. in geology at the University of Oklahoma in December 2021. His research has focused on petrological, paleomagnetic and rock magnetic studies of Precambrian and Cambrian basement rocks of Oklahoma in order to understand their origins and subsequent alteration and deformation. Additional research has included the mineralogy and timing of diagenetic events, interpretation of gravity and magnetic anomalies, ancient soils, and application of stable isotopes to geological and archaeological problems.
