About

Matt Hindman, Ph.D., is an associate professor of political science at The University of Tulsa. He is the author of the 2019 book “Political Advocacy and Its Interested Citizens” (University of Pennsylvania Press).

His second book, “Pluralism & Its Critics,” is forthcoming with Routledge Press. This book explores the intellectual history of grouphood and collective action. It also unpacks several traditions of critique of the group-centered academic tradition known as “pluralism.” This book helps to demonstrate how the American interest group system perpetuates inequalities of wealth and influence.
