About
Nathan Woolard, Ed.D., joined the TU faculty in spring 2022 as an applied assistant professor of innovation and entrepreneurship and faculty advisor for the Jolt@TU Business Center, providing student programming related to innovation, entrepreneurship, and the future of work. Woolard completed an AACSB-Accredited post-doctoral program in entrepreneurship at the University of Florida in 2017. Having grown up in a family of small business owners, he is passionate about small business and community development and operated a small business with his wife until 2019. Before joining the faculty at The University of Tulsa, Woolard served as the associate dean, department head, and associate professor of entrepreneurship at Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina, launching undergraduate and graduate curricular and co-curricular programs in entrepreneurship and family business. He is passionate about experiential and applied teaching and research. His research interests include entrepreneurial pedagogy and entrepreneurial ecosystem development.
