About
Nick Mancini is a professor of music who specializes in jazz studies. His highest degree is a Masters of Music from Manhattan School of Music. His main instrument is the vibraphone though he is also proficient on drums and piano. His performing and recording career spans 35 years, the bulk of which was spent in NYC and LA. He has performed and/or recorded with luminaries including Herb Alpert and Arturo Sandoval, and rising stars such as Kamasi Washington and Gerald Clayton. Mancini is a sponsored artist for Majestic Percussion and recently celebrated the release of his signature mallet through Innovative Percussion.
