About
Nicki Aubuchon-Endsley, Ph.D., is an associate professor of psychology and licensed psychologist with specialized training in neuroscience, behavioral medicine, and quantitative methods. She completed her clinical psychology predoctoral residency at the Veteran Affairs Health Care System in Durham, NC and postdoctoral research fellowship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She was a faculty member at Idaho State University for 7 years and served as their Psychology Clinic Director.
She directs the Perinatal Psychobiology Laboratory. Her research interests span the fields of health psychology, developmental psychobiology, and neuroscience. Her interdisciplinary research projects include multi-method assessment of mental and physical health markers, behaviors, and outcomes in historically under-resourced communities and/or with those at risk for health inequities. Her primary research focus is on maternal pre- and postnatal health in relation to infant/toddler development and biopsychosocial processes underlying these relations.
She teaches courses on clinical assessment, cognitive/affective science, health equity, and practical applications of research and clinical psychology practice. She is TU’s Psi Chi Advisor and an Institutional Review Board member. She collaborates with community partners including Chickasaw Nation’s Hofanti Chokma and WIC programs, the Extension for Community and Healthcare Outcomes program, and the Healthy Brain and Child Development Study.
