About

Pedro A. Malavet, J.D., served as a professor at the University of Florida Levin College of Law from 1995 until he retired in 2025. Malavet has taught courses in professional responsibility (ethics), civil procedure, federal courts, evidence, comparative law, seminar on the U.S. territorial possessions and introduction to the law and legal system of the U.S. for international students. Malavet also taught at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico and Georgetown University Law Center as an adjunct professor, as well as clerked for the Honorable Raymond L. Acosta of the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
