About
Peter LoPresti, Ph.D., is a professor of electrical and computer engineering who specializes in the design and modeling of optical systems, including sensors and both fiber and free-space communications systems. LoPresti’s current research focuses on hybrid RF/optical links between the ground and space-based platforms, including CubeSats. He seeks to strongly integrate education and research through engineering summer camps, undergraduate student research and acquisition of equipment with dual research and academic purposes.
