Roary E. Snider, Ph.D., J.D., is an assistant professor of management. His research sits at the intersection of law, policy and business strategy, with interests spanning entrepreneurial ecosystems, innovation policy, corporate political activity and competition law. He examines how legal and institutional environments shape entrepreneurial activity and firm strategy, including how antitrust policy influences corporate behavior and how political institutions affect entrepreneurial allocation and economic development. Before entering academia, Snider practiced law in Florida and also held senior executive roles in state government, including the executive office of the governor, where he oversaw strategic human resources policy affecting more than 100,000 public employees.
