Sharon Rose Willis, DNP, RN, NPD-BC

Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing

About

Sharon Willis is a nursing professor whose clinical expertise is in critical care and emergency room nursing. She is an experienced educator in both the academic setting as well as in the acute care setting. She has held various certifications through the years as an American Heart Association Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Life Support Instructor. In addition, she has extensive experience with utilization of simulation in nursing education. Sharon is board certified by the ANCC in Nursing Professional Development. In June of 2023, Sharon completed her DNP Quality Improvement Project at a mission hospital in Ghana where she implemented a Rapid Response System at the facility. She is passionate about nursing education and is grateful to have the opportunity to teach the next generation of registered nurses at TU.
