Soroor Karimi, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of mechanical engineering who specializes in computational fluid dynamics, multiphase flows, particulate flows, erosion of materials, and their applications in multiple energy industries, including wind and solar energy. She leads the Fluid And Renewable System Applications iNnovation Group and is a principle investigator at the Erosion/Corrosion Research Center. Her research is supported by multiple industrial companies and also federal and state grants such as the Department of Energy and Oklahoma Center for Advancement of Science & Technology.
