About

Stuti Thapa, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of Industrial-Organizational Psychology who studies well-being, emotion, and performance in the workplace. Her research primarily focuses on the ways individuals vary in their lived experiences, and how temporal, person-centric, interdisciplinary, and cross-cultural, diversity-focused approaches can expand on our current understanding of individual and organizational constructs. Her work primarily focuses on how organizational constructs (emotion, work performance, personality) change over time within person and the implications of such changes and patterns of changes on individual outcomes. She is passionate about leveraging novel methodologies and big data approaches to further science and is currently interested in the use of multilevel modeling, text mining, machine learning and network models. Her work has been published in journals such as Organizational Research Methods and Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior.

In her spare time, she enjoys painting, crocheting, gardening, and playing with her cat, Moon.
