About
Tamara Hryshchuk, DNP, RNC-NIC, is an experienced registered nurse with a career spanning 23 years. She has dedicated most of her professional life to caring for vulnerable infants and their families in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Hryshchuk holds a national certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing, which she earned during her time in the NICU. She also maintains current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor credentials and has taught evidence-based delivery room care of newborns through the NRP program locally and internationally.
In 2013, Hryshchuk transitioned to a nurse educator role to pursue her passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of nurses. She has taught in entry-level ADN and BSN programs, helping students obtain their initial nursing licensure. Additionally, she has served as a faculty member for RN-BSN and MSN programs, guiding and supporting current nurses in their pursuit of advanced nursing degrees.
Hryshchuk believes that providing nursing students with knowledge, skills, and positive educational experiences is crucial to ensure that future nurses can provide safe and competent care for the populations they will serve. She considers providing nursing care a privilege and sees teaching future nurses as a blessing.
