About

Tao Wang, Ed.D., is an associate professor of education who specializes in child development, parenting and mathematical education. After obtaining his doctoral degree from Harvard University, he started teaching at The University of Tulsa in 2005. Wang is the author of the book “Discipline and Love (规矩和爱),” one of the best sellers in parenting in 2012. In 2008, he founded the parenting program Discipline and Love in China and taught more than 50,000 parents. His research interest is in analyzing discourse in parent-child interaction and mathematical classrooms. Wang teaches courses on child and adolescent development, parenting and culture regularly.
