About

Tom Rendon is an instructor of mechanical engineering who brings more than 20 years of practical experience to the student environment. Ranging from research and development of Department of Defense equipment and medical devices to the production environments of the aerospace industry and consumer product design, Rendon specializes in connecting the theoretical engineering world to the practical one by blending traditional and modern engineering tools throughout the design, test, manufacture, and verification processes.

Rendon uses lab-based, hands-on courses to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the wide spectrum available to mechanical engineering professionals.
