Following a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the NASA Johnson Space Center, William Coberly, Ph.D., joined the faculty at The University of Tulsa in 1974, where his primary research interests have been in the application of statistics and probability to various fields including remote sensing, energy, law, biology, neuroscience, and engineering. His tenure as a professor at UTulsa has also included more than 30 years as chair of the Department of Mathematics.
