Energy & Energy Business

Empower your career, lead your way and join a new generation of energy professionals.

While our efforts supporting research and education in energy have strong ties to the oil and gas sector, our programs reflect the philosophy that the energy industry is an evolving field and must be viewed from a long-term, sustainable perspective. Guided by a diverse group of faculty, you will receive advanced training in upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas business functions and operations.

Our rigorous and interdisciplinary coursework combines traditional academic expertise with practical experience, allowing you to investigate various aspects of other industry sectors, including alternative fuels, power, and energy efficiency.

We offer undergraduate and graduate programs taught in small groups by our expert faculty, who are active in numerous professional associations and engage in research at the intersection of business, science, and technology.

Chemical Engineering

Gain fundamental knowledge in chemistry, physics, mathematics, and engineering and learn to apply scientific innovations to improve the quality of life.

The structure of our programs encourages critical thinking about engineering design problems while considering the fundamentals of engineering and science across many industrial areas. You will gain rich training in unique skills and learn to solve industrial problems through progressive coursework, rigorous design projects, and optional research.

From research projects to a more theoretical understanding of this broad discipline, our faculty will help you explore key aspects of chemistry, physics, mathematics, and engineering to inform solutions at the frontiers of technological innovation. Our state-of-the-art experimental facilities and teaching laboratories are built around industrial models, allowing you to experience practical scenarios of professional engineering.
