Accounting

Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills that steer businesses toward financial success and help individuals make better decisions today.

Accountants record the data and processes of the business so that an accurate picture of the business is available and better decisions can be made. We offer an undergraduate accounting curriculum that covers financial accounting, financial reporting, managerial/cost accounting, tax, audit, forensic accounting, and accounting information systems.

Our Master of Accountancy (MAcc), a STEM-designated program, prepares students for eligibility to become certified public accountants. Different paths are available for students who wish to apply for the MAcc, depending on their exposure to accounting classes as an undergraduate.

Finance

Dive into the multifaceted world of finance as you learn about accounting, economics, risk management, marketing, and computer information systems. You’ll also explore corporate finance, banking, investment planning, and real estate career paths. You’ll also gain hands-on experience managing the student investment fund – a $8 million real-money portfolio. Our risk management center features a lifelike financial laboratory with stock ticker boards, extensive financial databases, computers, and Bloomberg terminals, allowing you to practice your new skills in a real-life setting.

 

Nursing

For more than 50 years, our school has committed to teaching the best practices that advance the art and science of nursing. Our pre-licensure program combines a solid educational core that fosters critical thinking with clinical training incorporating the latest technology and protocols.

We offer individualized mentorship and experiential activities to prepare you to pass the nursing licensure exam (NCLEX) and join a thriving community of healthcare providers. Besides the regular, you can opt for a well-rounded online RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN) program designed for RNs who want to take the next step in their career and fast-track the path to nursing leadership.

Cyber Security

Cyber security skills are in high demand, yet there aren’t enough professionals who offer them. It’s estimated that more than 1 million cyber security jobs worldwide remain unfilled, with more than 200,000 in the United States.

We pride ourselves in being a pioneer in the field of cyber security, with more than two decades at the forefront of research and education. Our programs are designed to combine hands-on and project-based learning experiences with faculty expertise in wide-ranging fields, allowing you to cultivate broader perspectives and gain technical and non-technical skills.

Energy & Energy Business

Empower your career, lead your way and join a new generation of energy professionals.

While our efforts supporting research and education in energy have strong ties to the oil and gas sector, our programs reflect the philosophy that the energy industry is an evolving field and must be viewed from a long-term, sustainable perspective. Guided by a diverse group of faculty, you will receive advanced training in upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas business functions and operations.

Our rigorous and interdisciplinary coursework combines traditional academic expertise with practical experience, allowing you to investigate various aspects of other industry sectors, including alternative fuels, power, and energy efficiency.
