If you’re considering law school, you don’t need to declare a pre-law major at The University of Tulsa. Instead, you can choose a major that aligns with your interests while working closely with our pre-law adviser. UTulsa undergraduates who achieve a 3.5 cumulative GPA and score 156 or higher on the LSAT will receive automatic admission to the law school, provided they meet other requirements.
Students can also gain a head start through UTulsa’s Pre-Law Fellows Program. Beginning with a one-credit-hour course in the first year, the program offers early exposure to the legal profession through visits to courts and legal organizations, conversations with attorneys and UTulsa College of Law faculty, and insights into careers across public, private, nonprofit and tribal sectors. Participants receive continued mentorship and support throughout the law school application process, whether they plan to attend UTulsa Law or another law school.
