Provost

Ensuring that the academic mission of the university is accomplished, the provost works closely with the academic deans, vice presidents, department heads, faculty, and staff to provide the highest quality educational programs.

The Office of the Provost oversees Kendall College of Arts & Sciences, Collins College of Business, College of Engineering & Computer Science, Oxley College of Health & Natural Sciences, Graduate School and College of Law; as well as Accreditation & Assessment, Global Engagement, Global Scholars, Henneke Center, Honors Program, Institutional Research, McFarlin Library, Nationally Competitive Scholarships, Registrar, Student Success, Tulsa Undergraduate Research Challenge, and University School.

Accreditation & Strategic Initiatives

The University of Tulsa has maintained accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) since 1929 while other entities of the university (programs, departments, schools, etc.) maintain accreditation through specialized agencies.

TU faculty and staff mentor and empower students for personal and collaborative growth by cultivating an insatiable intellectual curiosity and inquisitiveness. The campus community is excited about students’ accomplishments and boundless potential.

The University of Tulsa offers support for faculty teaching, scholarship, service, and professional development. TU has developed programs to recognize and support educators in their accomplished teaching, dedicated advising, and professional leadership.
