Radiation Safety Program

The University of Tulsa’s radiation safety programs have been established for the protection of students, employees and the public against radiation hazards associated with the university’s use of devices that produce X-rays or contain radioactive materials.

The university’s Radiation Safety Committee provides advisory guidance to the Radiation Safety Officer who is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
