Campus Ministries

The University of Tulsa, founded as a Presbyterian related college, maintains a covenant with the Presbyterian Church USA that embodies the spirit of religious and intellectual freedom and sets the tone for a vibrant and inclusive, yet diverse, religious life on campus.  Students have access   to campus based religious centers, a variety of religious organizations, and churches in the community representing every faith and denomination.

In affirmation of their covenant relationship, The University of Tulsa and the Synod of the Sun recognize the mutual concern to provide for intellectual, moral and spiritual growth. The University strives to create an atmosphere of civility and decency with mutual respect and open communication. This relationship between the University and the Synod encourages the pursuit of religious and academic freedom and promotes among graduates a commitment to serve the community.”    (Excerpt from the Covenant Agreement between The University of Tulsa and the Presbyterian Church, USA, June 1, 1999)
