The University of Tulsa College of Law fosters a supportive academic environment, encouraging students to reach their full potential. The Academic Support Program provides assistance to law students throughout law school. from orientation to licensure, the Academic Success Center (ASC) stands ready to assist you in navigating the academic rigors of law school effectively.

Our ASC offers a range of services, including:

  • Individual appointments for students seeking to enhance academic performance
  • Assistance in seeking further diagnosis of learning problems and facilitating accommodations
  • Skills workshops addressing substantive courses and affective development
  • Access to study materials, review materials, and study aids
  • Reading vocabulary and comprehension testing
  • Orientation presentations for new students
  • Bar Prep Resources, including preparation for the UBE and California-specific exams
  • Substance abuse information

The bar exam is a pivotal step after graduation, and we are dedicated to supporting you throughout this process. Our Strategies & Skills for Bar & Practice course (“Bar Skills”) provides a vital head start into full bar exam preparation during your final semester. This specialized course equips you with the strategic thinking needed to excel in the multiple-choice portion of the exam and guides you through practice essays to maximize your score.

Following graduation, our support continues as you embark on the intensive 9-week bar exam preparation period. We are here to address any bar-related needs and are committed to partnering with you every step of the way toward success.
