Philanthropies: Reading is Fundamental & Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation Kappa Kappa Gamma is very proud to support RIF —Reading is Fundamental, a program that focuses on promoting literacy in communities. As a chapter, Kappas volunteer time and resources to promoting literacy and academic success in the Tulsa community. As a chapter, Kappa also supports the national Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation, which provides several undergraduate and graduate scholarships for members as well as emergency grants for undergraduate members, and educational programming and leadership development for the chapter. Philanthropy is an important part of what it means to be a Kappa Kappa Gamma.

The Delta Pi chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of Tulsa was founded on November 2, 1946. Its diverse members are from all over the country and are represented on campus in Student Association, Panhellenic, and University Ambassadors along with several other honor societies and clubs.
