Thursday’s Campus Closure Information

The University of Tulsa campus is closed Thursday, Feb. 24, due to the ongoing winter storm. The Student Union will be open for dining services. McFarlin Library, Collins Fitness Center, Mail Services and the Campus Bookstore will be closed.

No in-person classes will be held Thursday. However, faculty members may choose to teach remotely or cancel class and upload materials to Harvey. Faculty should notify students as soon as possible with their decision. Instructors may make assignments as they normally would in class. However, students should be given ample time to complete assignments and tasks. Faculty should not assume students have internet access and should notify students about any rescheduled in-person activities, such as missed labs.

Students should check Harvey as soon as possible for make-up assignments and new deadlines for coursework.

Tulsa is under a winter storm warning until 6 p.m. Thursday. Please exercise extreme caution when walking or driving on campus. Slick spots may be reported to Facilities Management at 918-631-2245. Please call Campus Security at 918-631-5555 if you need assistance.

Sign up online for emergency notifications and weather-related updates. Information also will be posted to the university website and TU Facebook and Twitter accounts. A decision on Friday’s classes and operations will be announced Thursday evening.
