Less than two years ago, we rolled out an ambitious strategic plan to ensure operational excellence at The University of Tulsa. We have made significant strides in both our work and the actual accomplishment of these objectives. It is time to provide you an update on this work and plans for our future.
Please plan to attend a TU town hall meeting at 10 a.m. April 11 in the Lorton Performance Center for an update on the strategic plan. Board Chairman Fred Dorwart, Provost Janet Levit and EVP Kevan Buck will join me as we examine our progress related to academic programs, student success, budgets, recruitment and more.
The momentum we have gained in the past 12 to 18 months is incredible. We are identifying innovative ways to preserve what’s special about TU while embracing new ideas and bold transformations. Our university is poised to be a national leader on the higher education scene, and I look forward to sharing the latest developments with faculty and staff. Fred, Janet, Kevan and I remain committed to TU’s future and look forward to seeing you on the 11th.
Gerry Clancy, M.D.
