The University of Tulsa announced Wednesday that the minimum wage for staff members will increase to $15 per hour – or $31,200 per year for salaried employees. This change becomes effective Oct. 2, 2022.
“I am proud that TU is able to offer this increase in the minimum wage for current and future employees who put our students first,” said TU President Brad Carson. “I am grateful for the faculty and staff whose fiscal responsibility helped make this good news possible and who understand the importance of this economic issue for their colleagues.”
TU has long been recognized among the best places to work in Oklahoma. The minimum wage increase coupled with excellent benefits solidifies the university as one of the state’s top employers.
