Calvin C. McKee Veterans Success Center

Matthew J. Ingram

Director of Veteran Affairs

Matthew Ingram joined the University of Tulsa in October 2022 as the Director of Veteran Affairs. A retired Veteran himself, Matt brings 30 years of leadership experience in the U.S. Army having served in a variety of command and staff positions across the globe.

The Director of Veteran Affairs is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day management of the McKee Veterans Success Center and The University of Tulsa Student Veterans Association. The director coordinates and administers all Veteran Affairs activities and assists with the administration of federal and state grants and with other financial aid programs while ensuring compliance with all federal, state and university regulations. Serving as a Veteran student advocate, Matt connects students to on-campus and community resources to enable academic success. Matt oversees all aspects of educational funding through the Veterans Administration to ensure student Veterans and military-connected students receive all entitled benefits.

A native of Yukon, Oklahoma, he holds a B.A. in History from the University of Oklahoma and a M.S. in National Security and Resource Strategy from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School, National Defense University.
