The Faculty Resource Center supports and promotes the use of technology in teaching, learning and research at The University of Tulsa.
Some of our responsibilities include:
- Working with faculty to use Harvey, Panopto, Respondus LockDown Browser and other tools effectively in their courses
- Training faculty in best practices for course structure, course management and content development in Harvey
- Supporting faculty, staff and students when they have trouble with those tools
- Supporting departments and individual instructors in using SmartEvals, our course evaluation platform
- Serving as subject matter experts in Blackboard, the learning management system that Harvey runs on, Panopto and SmartEvals
- Maintaining Blackboard, Panopto and SmartEvals, as well as other systems and tools
- Hosting the Scantron test sheet scanner

We’re happy to help faculty in person (in our office or yours), on Teams or by email. Please contact us at frc-help@utulsa.edu to set up a meeting, ask a question or just stop by our office on the fifth floor of McFarlin Library in the Henneke Center.
Tip: If you take the small elevator just west of the library’s information desk to the fifth floor, you’ll be in the FRC.
If you need to use the Scantron, please contact us first to make sure we’re available to unlock the room where it is located.
