Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs & Academic Initiatives
Danielle Macdonald, Ph.D., serves as the vice provost for faculty affairs and academic initiatives, providing leadership on faculty matters, curriculum governance and academic program reviews. She manages the promotion and tenure process, ensuring compliance and transparency across academic units. She also oversees the Academic Review Committee, Faculty Resource Center and University Curriculum Committee. As vice provost, she leads faculty development initiatives through the Henneke Center, including programming to support faculty in their teaching, research and professional development. Macdonald is an associate professor of anthropology in the Kendall College of Arts & Sciences with a specialty in archaeology.
