Vice Provost for Institutional & Academic Effectiveness
Monica Varner, Ph.D., leads the Office of Continuous Improvement where she facilitates student learning outcome assessment and quality assurance processes for academic, cocurricular and student services programs, course evaluations, external student surveys and student learning achievement of Tulsa Curriculum Program outcomes. She also supports faculty in academic program review, curriculum change process, program-specific accreditation and academic strategic planning. Varner serves as the accreditation liaison officer for the university and leads the institution’s accreditation processes. Varner is a courtesy faculty member and teaches organizational studies courses in the Kendall College of Arts & Sciences. Varner also serves as a peer reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission.
