Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is a proactive, university-wide approach to identify, assess, and manage risks that could affect our ability to achieve our mission. Risks may include financial, operational, compliance, reputational, and strategic challenges.
Through ERM, the university works collaboratively across departments to:
- Identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Evaluate their impact on our academic, research, and community goals.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and strengthen resilience.
- Monitor and review risks on an ongoing basis.
By integrating ERM into planning and decision-making, the university promotes accountability, supports innovation, and ensures a safe, sustainable, and successful environment for students, faculty, staff, and the broader community.
