The TU Concurrent Enrollment Program is an opportunity for outstanding students who have taken the most rigorous courses offered by their school to assume the challenge of college course work in specific areas before they graduate from high school.
Eligibility Requirements
- A cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 in college preparatory high school courses
- An ACT composite score of 25 or above or a combined score of 1130 on the Critical Reading and Math sections of the SAT is recommended, if you have already had the opportunity to take a standardized test.
- A school approval form OR email from the principal or counselor
To Apply
Students who meet the above criteria should submit the following documents.
- A completed Concurrent Enrollment application form, including a brief essay and signature of parent or guardian
- A current official high school transcript via electronic delivery or by email to apply@utulsa.edu
- A scanned signed Approval Form or email from school administrator sent to apply@utulsa.edu
- Test score results on school transcript or copy of student score report if available
Note: Students may take courses through the Concurrent Enrollment Program for consecutive semesters, but must resubmit the application (omitting the essay), a new transcript if going continuously from spring to fall semester, and a new school approval form.
If granted permission under the concurrent program, students may enroll in most 1000-2000 level courses, an upper level course if they have met the prerequisites, or one that has been approved for concurrent enrollment by the professor. Class schedules are posted online several weeks prior to the opening of enrollment (November for spring semester and March for fall or summer terms).
Half tuition scholarships are granted to students who are accepted to the Concurrent Enrollment Program.
