How to Earn a Fee Waiver
We understand that application costs can add up, and we’re committed to making graduate education more accessible. By participating in a Graduate School event, you may qualify for a waiver of the $60 application fee while gaining valuable insight into our programs.*
Events include in-person open houses, virtual information sessions, webinars and other special events. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To receive a waiver, you must:
- Register in advance, if required.
- Attend the event and arrive within the first 10 minutes.
- Participate for most of the event.
Our team will verify your participation. Once confirmed, the fee waiver will be applied automatically to your application record. Please allow two to three business days for the waiver to appear on your application status page. If you experience an issue, contact grad@utulsa.edu.
Important Details
- Each waiver applies to one application for a future term.
- Waivers may not be applied to multiple terms.
- Application fees already paid are generally not refundable.
- Waivers are issued only through the Graduate School, not through individual programs.
We host events throughout the year, so check your email and our website for upcoming opportunities. In addition to qualifying for a fee waiver, you’ll have the chance to connect with faculty, staff and prospective classmates.
