Parent & Family Leadership Council
The Parent & Family Leadership Council is a community of parents and family members whose leadership philanthropy to UTulsa augments their personal support of their students. The unique perspective parents have of watching their UTulsa students grow into confident, capable young adults empowers our parents and families to support and champion the university in meaningful and lasting ways. The generous support of our parent and family donors makes an immediate impact on the lives of UTulsa students.
With an annual gift of $2,500+ per fiscal year (July 1–June 30), you can become a member of the Parent & Family Leadership Council. Your support helps The University of Tulsa expand vital resources and create even more opportunities for our students.
The Parent & Family Leadership Council engages families of UTulsa students to support the overall mission of The University of Tulsa:
We are a student-centered research university that cultivates interconnected learning experiences to explore complex ideas and create new knowledge in a spirit of free inquiry. Guided by our commitment to service and inclusion, we prepare individuals to make meaningful contributions to our campus, our community, and our world.
While unrestricted gifts to UTulsa’s Greatest Need are most appreciated as they enable the university to respond to new opportunities fostering a vibrant environment, families can give to any of UTulsa’s initiatives to be included in the Parent & Family Leadership Council. You’re welcome to consider what’s important to you and your student if you’d prefer to make your gift towards a specific college, program, or athletics team to support a transformative educational experience for UTulsa students. Matching gifts can apply towards your giving level, so check with your employer for a matching gift!

We had never been to Tulsa - the city nor the university - before visiting during our son’s senior year of high school. We fell in love with both. The fit has been spot on - better than we could have hoped. The sense of community here is real, and coming from a small private high school, that was important to both our son and us. Being part of the Parent & Family Leadership Council has been a great way to stay involved and support the university that’s helping our son grow.
