Cherlynn Hill, Ph.D., RN, MSN, FCN, PMH-BC

About

Cherlynn Hill holds a Doctorate of Philosophy of Science in nursing with highest honors from Oklahoma City University. She is a certified faith community nurse and board certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse. Hill holds a research focus on decreasing clinical practicum anxiety for student nurses.

She remains a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Blue Key Honor Society, Sigma Alpha Pi-The National Society of Leadership and Success, and Phi Theta Kappa. She also holds membership with the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, American Nurse Association, Oklahoma Nurses Association, the Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corp, and OKMRC Stress Response Team.

Hill currently works as a clinical assistant professor in nursing for Oxley College of Health & Natural Sciences at The University of Tulsa, as well as a pediatric, adolescent, and adult psychiatric registered nurse and administrative supervisor for a mental health facility in OKC. Her clinical experience focused on the sexual trauma and rehabilitation for children and adolescents. In her service for TU, Hill serves as the president for Sigma Theta Tau Zeta-Delta Chapter-at-large and the chair of the BSN Testing Committee.
