The Office of Technology Commercialization collaborates with industry partners and leaders. If you have a specific technology you want to launch or innovate, we would be delighted to conduct a focused review of our existing technology portfolio and find the perfect fit.
Once an intellectual property and a company match, our office coordinates a meetup of the inventor and potential licensee to answer technical questions about the patent. Our legal team will then negotiate the license terms depending on the desired level of exclusivity. We aim to provide excellent customer service, resulting in a Licensing Agreement that clearly details the arrangements, including royalty amounts and payment schedule.
