Safe UTulsa App
Safe UTulsa is the fastest way to connect directly to UTulsa Security for emergency issues (life-threatening) and nonemergency assistance (such as lockouts). The app also will notify you of potential hazards, such as storms, and help guide you to safety.
You also can:
- request monitoring from UTulsa Security through the Virtual Walk Home feature
- share your location with a friend or family member for peace of mind
receive directions to navigate campus - access mental health and/or assault resources for yourself or others
- report suspicious behavior or criminal activity
The app also will help us notify you when classes are canceled because of inclement weather or other circumstances. More features may be added as they become available.
The university is excited to offer this comprehensive technology to our campus community as we continue to explore ways to better ensure safety for all.
All students, faculty, and staff should download the Safe UTulsa app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), register with your UTulsa credentials through single sign-on, and be sure to turn on notifications and location services. Parents and visitors can also download the app and receive notifications, so please feel free to share this information with others.
